Map and Directions to Grizzly Flats, CA

Map to get to Grizzly Flats
  1. Take the Missouri Flat Road - Diamond Springs turnoff from Highway 50, go right and travel 1.5 miles to the 3rd stop light at the end of the road.

  2. Go left at the stop light through Diamond Springs and proceed on Pleasant Valley Rd to Bucks Bar Rd (stop sign about 5 miles from the light).

  3. Veer right onto Bucks Bar Road (old gas station at the corner) and travel 5 miles through the stop sign at Sandridge Rd to the 4 way stop at Somerset. Go straight ahead through the 4 way stop where Bucks Bar Rd's name changes into Grizzly Flat Road.

  4. From Somerset travel 9 miles on Grizzly Flat Road. Fork to the left on String Canyon Road (see the green sign that says Grizzly Park, Grizzly Flat to the left). Travel 2 miles on String Canyon Road to the corner of String Canyon and Evergreen Drive. Look for the American flag proudly attached to the tree stump on the corner. This is where my cabin/chalet used to be before it burned down in the Caldor Fire (the address was 5087 Evergreen Drive Grizzly Flats, CA 95636).
